From 1954 until now, the number of female Moroccan writers is going up and they are more confident in the power of writing, if not directly in order to change the mentality and negative perceptions of all things feminine, then at least in order to allow for personal liberation and the affirmation of themselves. And they know how to transform their language into an instrument of work on what is real and what is imaginary and break taboos and silence. It is by way of the short story and the novel, and to a smaller extent, of dramatic writing, that they have been able to occupy the literary space which they needed to occupy in order for their female voices to be heard.Entre 1954 y hoy, las escritoras marroquíes cada vez más numerosas, más confiadas en el poder de la escritura, si no directamente para el cambio de mentalidades y de las percepciones negativas de lo femenino, por lo menos para el desahogo personal y la afirmación de sí mismas, han sabido transformar la lengua en un instrumento de trabajo sobre lo real y sobre lo imaginario, rompiendo tabúes y silencios. Es a través del relato y de la novela y, en muy menor medida, de la escritura dramática como ellas han ido ocupando el espacio literario que tenían que ocupar para que se escucharan las voces femeninas
